Wabash Valley Recovery Center Expands Free Services to Clark County Residents

Clark County, IL — Access to recovery support recently became more accessible for residents of Clark County. The Wabash Valley Recovery Center has officially expanded its services across state lines, now offering free recovery support to individuals and families in Clark County, Illinois, beginning March 1, 2026.

This expansion is designed to meet the growing need for compassionate, peer-based support in rural communities where resources can often be limited. Services available to Clark County residents include one on one peer recovery coaching, resource referrals for treatment and community support, and distribution of safer use kits aimed at reducing harm and preventing overdose.

Peer recovery services are led by individuals with lived experience who understand the challenges of addiction and recovery firsthand. These services focus on meeting people where they are, helping them navigate systems, set goals, and build a sustainable path forward.

Keith Myers, a peer recovery coach with lived experience in opioid addiction, shared the importance of making these services available:

“I know what it’s like to feel stuck and alone in addiction. Recovery didn’t start for me until someone met me where I was without judgment. That’s what we’re bringing to Clark County. Real people, real support, and real hope.”

The recovery center is located at 1098 Ohio St, Terre Haute, IN 47807, and remains open to anyone in need of support, regardless of where they are in their recovery journey.

Community members can access services or learn more by calling the main office at 812-917-0068 or contacting Keith Myers directly at 812-201-1045.

This expansion was made possible through the generous support of the United Way of the Wabash Valley, whose grant funding is helping bridge gaps in care and bring vital recovery services to Clark County residents.

Wabash Valley Recovery Center encourages anyone seeking help, or anyone wanting to support a loved one, to reach out and take the first step toward recovery.
