Kids ages 12 and under are invited to Lincoln Trail State Park on Saturday, June 20th for a morning of fishing! Volunteers will be ready at the patio under the restaurant at 9am. Each child must bring a fishing pole and lures. Preregistration is not required for this event.
Boys and girls will be “competing” in three age categories; 8 and under, 9-10, and 11-12. Awards will be given for “Biggest Fish,” “Smallest Fish,” and “Most Fish Caught” for boys and girls in each age category. The rally will end at 12pm with awards to follow!

Stephanie Rasner-Knott is a Clark County Post contributor who enjoys connecting people, places, and stories. After spending 10 years in Cajun Country, she gained a deeper appreciation for the role storytelling plays in preserving history, culture, and community.
Stephanie is an Associate Agent with Jim Blue COUNTRY Financial in Paris, IL. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, hiking in state and national parks, and spending time with her husband and two sons. She also volunteers with Friends of Lincoln Trail State Park, supporting projects and activities that encourage people to connect with nature and recreation.
Through her contributions, Stephanie hopes to explore how storytelling can serve as a bridge between people, community, and the outdoors.
