Friends of Lincoln Trail State Park is offering a free glow kayak event on Saturday, July 18 at 7:30 p.m.

Participants can meet in the parking area at the south boat ramp to decorate their kayaks with glow sticks, LED lights, or anything that will make them light up the lake for the nighttime paddle.
There will not be kayak rentals available for this event, so participants are required to bring their own kayaks and paddles, along with suggested safety gear including life jackets, whistles and navigation lights.
After launching, kayakers will paddle from the dam at the south end of the lake to the restaurant at the north end of the lake and back.

Those who do not wish to paddle, but would like to see the event are still invited to observe from parking areas at either end of the lake.
The Friends of Lincoln Trail State Park want to remind the public that other events happening at the park that day are for registered campers only. More information on public events at the park can be found at FOLTSP Facebook Page.
