Local mother, entrepreneur, and community advocate Katie McCullough is celebrating the publication of her debut children’s book, Tucker’s Blue Barn Farm.

Inspired by the power of friendship, imagination, and belonging, the story follows Tucker as he discovers a bright blue barn and meets a cast of unforgettable farm friends. Through adventure and connection, young readers are encouraged to embrace curiosity, kindness, and the joy of making new friends.
The book was created with families in mind, offering a wholesome story that parents and children can enjoy together while fostering a love of reading and storytelling.
For McCullough, publishing the book represents more than simply becoming an author. As a mother and entrepreneur, she hopes the story encourages children to dream big, explore their creativity, and discover the confidence to create their own adventures.
In addition to writing Tucker’s Blue Barn Farm, McCullough is actively involved in community initiatives throughout the Wabash Valley, including organizing the Wabash Valley Children’s Business Fair and developing projects focused on supporting families, literacy, and youth development.
Tucker’s Blue Barn Farm is available now through Amazon and IngramSpark.
