MARSHALL, IL – The Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of its Annual Lemonade Stand Contest, taking place on Friday, July 31, during the Marshall Farmers Market from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on the Courthouse Square.
This year’s contest is extra special as Marshall continues its celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary. Participants are encouraged to embrace the patriotic spirit by decorating their lemonade stands in red, white, and blue, showcasing their creativity while celebrating our nation’s rich history and hometown pride.
The Annual Lemonade Stand Contest is a favorite community tradition that encourages young entrepreneurs to develop business skills, creativity, customer service, and confidence—all while serving up refreshing lemonade to Farmers Market visitors.
Whether participants choose classic lemonade, a unique flavor, or a creative twist, the Chamber encourages them to think outside the pitcher and create a stand that reflects both their personality and this year’s patriotic theme.
Families, friends, and community members are invited to attend the Farmers Market to support these young business owners, shop local vendors, enjoy live entertainment, and celebrate another exciting evening in downtown Marshall.
Registration for the contest is now open. Participation is free, but advance registration is requested.
