On Monday, November 17th, Marshall High School student-athlete Molly Farrell signed her Letter of Intent to participate in cross country and track & field at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee beginning in 2026-2027.
Molly joins a Bisons cross country team which recently won their record 12th Atlantic Sun Conference Championship.
During her four years running cross country for Marshall High School, Molly earned three Little Illini Conference championships, three regional titles, and finished in the top eight in all four of her appearances at the IHSA State Cross Country Championships.
She holds personal bests of 4:52 in the 1600m, 10:34 in the 3200m, 16:50 in the three-mile, and 17:43 in the 5K. She is currently undecided on her major.
Molly was joined at her signing by her family, cross country teammates, track & field teammates, and friends.
