Hans Eilbracht recently began working out of the Martinsville branch of Casey State Bank on Wednesdays and by appointment. The rest of the week, Hans works from the Marshall branch.

As a loan officer, Hans assists customers with a variety of personal, agricultural and commercial lending needs.
Before joining Casey State Bank in August 2025, Hans operated his own expense reduction consulting business and served as County Auditor in Jackson County, Indiana, where his wife Julia is from.
Hans said his background in small business ownership, technology, public service and consulting helps him better understand the needs of the customers he works with.
“Having been in the borrower’s position myself, I know firsthand what it takes to start, manage, and grow a business — including cash flow pressures, operational decisions, and long-term planning,” Hans said.
A Terre Haute native, Hans graduated from Indiana State University with a degree in business management. He later earned his Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2007.
Before entering banking, Hans’ career included several different paths. He worked for Channels Two and Ten and operated a video business recording weddings, banquets and other events.
He later worked at Hamilton Center, where he advanced as an information technology professional. Hans was also an owner of Gingersnaps Cafe at the Open Door Christian Bookstore from 2008 until 2019.
Those experiences, Hans said, help him approach banking by looking at each customer’s individual situation.
“This perspective helps me provide more practical, tailored guidance rather than one-size-fits-all solutions,” Hans said.
He said he enjoys the relationship-focused nature of community banking and getting to know customers beyond a single transaction.
“Being part of a smaller community means those relationships carry beyond the bank,” Hans said. “Whether I’m at a local event or visiting a business, it’s rewarding to see familiar faces and continue those conversations.”
Hans said Casey State Bank offers lending options for a variety of needs, including personal loans, home improvement financing, agricultural lending and financing for those looking to start or grow a business.
“The most important thing for customers to know is that they don’t have to navigate the process alone,” Hans said. “I see myself as a resource and a partner — someone who will walk them through each step, help them understand their options, and find a solution that fits their goals and financial situation.”
Hans and Julia continue to stay connected to both sides of their family. With parents nearby in different communities, they split their weekends and commute between homes. He said the adjustment has gone smoothly, although winter weather did make the commute interesting at times.
Through his role at Casey State Bank, Hans said his goal is to combine financial tools with personal guidance and trust to help customers succeed.
